This printable preschool planning sheet is a super simple way to plan your preschool lessons. The use of Post-it® Notes makes it easy to move things around when life gets in the way and plans change.

I have been organizing and planning for a new year of preschool and one of the main things I’ve focused on is a printable planning sheet I could use to organize my lesson plans. One of the biggest problems I have is that our plans change frequently. Life gets in the way, kids get sick and lessons take longer than expected. I wanted something that would be very flexible and easy to change up without having to print another sheet and re-write the plans we didn’t get to.

That’s where Post-it Notes come to the rescue! I headed to Wal-Mart to purchase to check out which Post-it Notes® would work best for my needs. I found everything I needed in the back-to-school seasonal section. In the end, I decided to make a planning sheet that fit Post-it® Notes Capetown.

This way I could color-code each subject and have a really simple way to move plans around when life gets in the way. Now I simply move the Post-it® Notes to another day or the next week when something comes up and we can’t get to specific lessons.

I also like that I don’t have to print as many sheets out. One printable can last for weeks on end before it needs to be printed again. Scroll to the bottom of this post to print your free preschool planning sheet!

My printable planning sheet has the space for 3 lessons each day Monday through Friday. Check out my post How to Plan for Preschool at Home post for more specific details on how I plan our days.

While I was shopping for my Post-it® Notes, I spotted Post-it® Super Sticky Notes in coordinating colors. I decided to pick those up and use them to write out the supplies needed for every subject each week. For example, I used blue Post-it® Notes on my planning sheet for all of my literacy lessons. So I use the blue 3″ x 3″ Post-it® Super Sticky Notes to write down all of the supplies I need for my literacy lesson plans that week. I do the same thing for my math and structured play lesson plans.

I keep the larger Post-it Notes attached to the back of the planning sheet and refer to them when I am gathering supplies for the day. I like that all of my plans and materials lists are contained to that one printable sheet. I also love that everything is color-coded and bright!

I think this is going to work out really well this year. I am excited to get started with preschool at home!
