Advent Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers
I’ve compiled a list of Christmas activities to do during Advent. They are activities that will keep us focused on spending time together and having fun. I don’t want the Christmas season to be all about the presents, the shopping and the stress. Most of all, I want to focus on the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of Jesus. So we will be using the book Countdown to Christmas (My First Read and Learn). This is suited for children ages 2-5. Every day there is a short devotional, relating to an aspect of Christmas, that includes a prayer and a bible verse. There is also an activity for each day, but we will skipping most of those this year in favor of the activities listed below. Many of them will be repeated several times over the next 25 days. Hope this helps you plan fun-filled, Jesus focused family time this month. Enjoy!
